Deryne Keretic: an artist, photographer, and musician, has a conceptual interest in capturing the moment and further understanding these moments as an episodic yet connected series of experiences. Her body of work has been featured in multiple countries as well as in several magazines that she has received international awards for. Born in New York City, Deryne lived and studied in Germany where she slowly grew to merge her passion for music and photography into her art. Trained initially as a musician, her love for photography began in the dark room, when she became interested in understanding how we perceive objects in multiple scales. Currently living in New York, Deryne’s passion has evolved into exploring the human body in black and white portraits. “My interest is in capturing the essence of real moments and the photography that I explore is not staged. I love working with people who are not used to being photographed – the experience is so much more exciting and rewarding.” Her background as a musician has helped further her lyrical ideas within photo shoots, as well as allow her to truly understand and collaborate on multiple projects with other artists.

EVA is a multicultural singer-songwriter, born and raised in New York and has been living abroad for the past 30 years. The daughter of European immigrants, Eva developed both a passion for music and an ease with cultural diversity early in life. Growing up in the 70’s she was mostly influenced by Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Burt Bacharach. At 18, she packed her suitcase and moved to Europe. The musical journey that has resulted truly spans continents and EVA’s sound reflects it. Over the years, EVA has proven that she’s equally at home performing in an art nouveau apartment in Hamburg and a hip club in Greenwich Village as she is opening for a Westernhagen concert to 30,000 spectators.
Warner Music released EVA’s debut album, Imported, to rave international reviews in 2003, and that was just the beginning. Her next three albums, Bittersweet Sessions (2010), Sky Wide Open (2012) and The 70’s EP (2014) were recorded in “live” sessions with Kevin Bents (Steely Dan, Phoebe Snow, Jewel), Doug Yowell (Suzanne Vega, Joe Jackson, Duncan Sheik), Gabriel Gordon (Natalie Merchant) , Fontaine Burnett (Chaka Khan, Winston Marseilles) and singer/songwriter Ari Hest. 50/50 (2016) was a musical experiment she created with her longtime musical partner Fontaine Burnett that dared to branch out into new genre territory. Each album encapsulates the emotion and authenticity of her musical and personal journeys at the time, bringing thoughts and melodies together in a way that befitted the respective stage of her life.
EVA has an incredibly creative mind, bursting with energy and ideas. She writes all her own lyrics and music. She also developed the live-session concept for her albums, and got world-class musicians on board to perform and produce them with her. Her talent and charisma as a performer, her authenticity as a person and her unique knack for lyrics win people over – on stage and off. EVA’s songs have also been heard in the commercial campaigns for NIVEA , Maggi, and Milka.
Next to her albums EVA has also taught English with music in primary schools and written a children’s album and book that supports learning the language for foreign children. She created “The Jamplan” with Fontaine Burnett, where they utilize songwriting in team-building events for clients like Otto, Adidas, and Mondelez. She plays an active part of the foundation “Many Children-One World” and writes songs with children all across the globe to raise intercultural awareness of peace and understanding.
