Bio
Victoria Nestor is a Materials Engineer with an MSc in Environmental Engineering and a varied expertise across numerous industry sectors and academia.
Her MSc in Environmental Engineering, has not only strengthened her technical skills, especially in the field of Nano- technology, but has also furthered her knowledge of the technological challenges in the optimisation of the manufacturing processes and given her experience in dealing with sensitive issues arising from legislation in the manufacturing industry, such as ISO standards compliance; pollution and prevention control and tax credits incentives.
She provides advice to global industrial waste-recycling/management companies on the environmental protection aspects of the clients’ requirements for optimal industrial waste management. Victoria’s ability to think creatively, her political awareness, understating government policies and programmes and timely response to sensitive issues contributes greatly to successful project delivery against strategy objectives. The engineering aspects of her role involves regular technical report generation, ensuring environmental/safety compliance, coordination of the consultation activities in line with the legislations and government policies
Her past track record of client engagement includes senior stakeholders across various industry sectors including metals, thermoplastics, pharmaceuticals, environmental sciences, education and government.
As an educator and instructional expert in technological innovation/environmental issues for one of the most sought-after secondary schools in London, she has been involved in the local Environmental groups in London where she initiated and delivered projects, both nationally and internationally, to raise awareness of current environmental issues and the future of harnessing energy in an efficient way as well as facilitated student’s participation at Ecology conferences in Paris and London and subsequent meeting with the PM at Westminster.
Her passion is sustainability and smart energy solutions and she regularly contributes to Green Culture events, both as a speaker and member of the Green Culture Advisory Board.
