Bio
Dijana Tomik Radevska (born 1961 in Skopje) is a multimedia artist, designer and art curator. Works on art printmaking, art installations, art video and design.
She is devoted to Art Printmaking, giving different perspective on Art in Printmaking using classic techniques and experimenting in combining various techniques in mono prints. Experiments in using raw materials and natural dyes implementing old recipes in paintings, papermache and hand made paper.
Skopje BFA 1984 on the Faculty for Fine Arts, department of Art Printmaking and Graphic Design.
More than 30 solo exhibitions in Skopje, Ohrid, Prilep, Bitola, Belgrade, Zagreb, Milano, Berlin, New York, Freemantle, Aachen, Mastricht.
Numerous group exhibitions in R. of North Macedonia and abroad.
Designs unique hand woven carpets and kilims for small masterpiece studios.
The idea for reviving the weaving skills in the regions of North Macedonia that are almost forgotten provoke her to build sustainable projects for support to small communities.
Collaborate with artisans on realizing specialized products for Komrad-Design (a company founded 1993 together with Marin Radevski) in different programs (home-interior; home-décor, inclusive design; accessories, graphic design) and materials (wool, wood, textile, clay, glass, paper).
Personal engagement on different solo eco projects and together with small creative companies.
She curated dozen of group and solo exhibitions for Acanthus Gallery in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.
